The Art of Healing
This year’s theme honors The Art of Healing – the deeply personal and creative ways individuals define recovery, wellness, and identity. Throughout the evening, guests will experience live painting and interactive art opportunities, celebrating creative expression as a powerful force in mental health recovery.

Our Mission
NAMI Metro Suburban is dedicated to improving the lives of individuals, families, and communities impacted by mental illness in West Suburban Cook County, Illinois, through education, advocacy, and support.
Your Impact
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we are creating meaningful change in our west suburban community.
Our 24/7 Living Room program provided crisis support to over 900 guests, with 87% reporting a decrease in distress after receiving services.
Over 12,000 middle- and high-school students attended NAMI Metro Suburban mental health presentations. On average, students demonstrated a 70% increase in mental health knowledge after the presentations, with 33% engaging in conversations about mental health with their peers.
NAMI Metro Suburban’s Workforce Development and Employment Program helped over 200 individuals with mental health challenges secure meaningful employment.
Successful Transitions supported 99 individuals discharging from inpatient treatment at Madden Mental Health Center, with only 11% readmitting within twelve months. This is less than half of the national average of 23%.
139 Drop-In Center participants received 1,888 hours of mental health services and support, with 20 different celebrations, peer-led groups, and therapeutic expressions each month.
