What is it?
The Community Wellness Center is a warm and inviting community resource for anyone looking to learn more about mental health and to develop skills and tools to increase and strengthen their overall wellness. The Community Wellness Center offers free mental health and wellness education, classes and referrals.
What you’ll gain?
Classes are taught by professionals on a wide range of mental health topics including understanding the signs and symptoms of mental illness, knowing the early warning signs and understanding the importance of early detection and treatment. A wide range of classes are offered including managing anxiety, mindfulness practices and yoga.
The NAMI Metro Suburban Speaker Series has gone virtual.

Substance Use in the Pandemic - February 4th or March 4th at 7pm
Dual Diagnosis: The Chicken and Egg Nature of Mental Health and Addiction - February 11th or February 18th at 7pm
Centering Wellbeing: Embodied Self-Care Practices - February 25th or March 18th at 7pm
Covid Anxiety: Helping Your Kids Do The Impossible During Online Learning - February 28th at 1:30pm (presented with support from The Community Mental Health Board of Oak Park Township)
Enrollment is free. CEUs are available.
Beginner Yoga on Zoom
Join us for Beginner Yoga Class via Zoom and enjoy wellness from the comfort of your own home.
Classes take place on the following Tuesdays at 7pm:
February 2 and 16th, March 2nd and 16th, April 13th and 20th, May 4th and 18th, June 1st and 15th, July 6th and 20th, August 3rd and 17th
