What is the CRSS Hub Internship Program
The CRSS Hub is an interdisciplinary internship program where students support the social environment of consumer-based recovery programming. Interns learn from CRSS professionals and gain hands-on experience about what it’s like to work for a mental health nonprofit.
NAMI Metro Suburban offers internship opportunities designed to support a variety of interests, skill sets, and career paths. These programs are ideal for bachelor’s and master’s students, as well as individuals pursuing their Certified Recovery Support Specialist (CRSS) credential. Anyone exploring a future in social services, peer recovery, or mental health is encouraged to connect with us. College credit is available through most local academic programs.
At NAMI Metro Suburban, we believe deeply in the power of shared experience. Many of our team members have lived experience with mental health, and our Recovery Support Specialists provide compassionate peer-to-peer support every day.
