Joe Zuzich, LCSW

Community Education Director

Joe Zuzich is NAMI Metro Suburban’s Community Education Director and earned his master’s degree in social work from Dominican University in 2011. Joe was born and raised in Chicago and has a love for his hometown. He has worked in the social service industry for over 10 years and is passionate about working with youth in the mental health field.

Joe has worked as a school social worker in Chicago Public Schools as well as a case worker for homeless youth. He also oversaw a long-term group home for wards of the state for nearly 9 years in Oak Park, IL where he provided care to youth under 12 to help them transition successfully to a foster home.

In his free time, Joe enjoys camping, listening and playing music with friends. Joe is ardent about social justice and this shows through his service his past decade of service. Joe is a knowledgeable mental health presenter and has much experience presenting and training other individuals in the field. Joe hopes to continue to grow in his professional career with NAMI Metro Suburban to help create a healthier community.
